Cottage in a lovely unspoilt village, beautiful area. Very thoughtful of owners to leave some 'doggy' treats, Flash's first holiday and he wants to go back again, as we do. Lunch at The Horse and Groom in Oddington well worth the 30 minute walk from Foxcote.

This is a beautiful spot to stay and experience the Cotswolds - there are a number of walks which can be picked up from outside the front door which take you into some beautiful countryside. For the less mobile there are some pretty villages close to the cottage to explore and some great pubs and Inns offering excellent food - a warm welcome is guaranteed.

We spent a lovely family weekend at Foxcote - the cottage is ideal for exploring the local countryside which, at this time of the year is awesome. Cosy and warm, the cottage is comfortably furnished, and there are some nice welcoming touches. I can recommend The Fox next door but one, which serves great food and wine. For a day out, visit Batsford Arboretum - not as big as Westonbirt, but just as spectacular in terms of tree species and colour. The local towns of Stow and Bourton on the Water are always worth a visit - a very pleasant weekend away.
